In Robot Chicken they had a Jaws sketch about the 30th annavery for the film and Steven Spelburg was talking about how crappy it was for not seeing the shark and then they talk about the special editon version of jaws

(They also have a special effect ring when Brody blew the shark up that was in the "Robot Chicken Star Wars Special" in Episode IV after Luke blew up the Death Star).
