Paranoia Agent is a supernatural anime series from acclaimed director Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers).

Plot
A mysterious boy on rollerblades known only as "Lil' Slugger" has been attacking random people in Tokyo. Strangely, his victims appear to be greatly relieved after each attack. Two detectives are assigned to investigate this strange phenomenon, which goes far beyond a mere case of juvenile delinquency. Who or what is "Lil' Slugger"? Is he real? A phantom? Or something more?
