Adult Swim Unleashed (2002 - 2005)
Adult Swim Unleashed was founded in December of 2002 as an archive of Adult Swim promos and intros. The site began as a small, independent website, but it soon found itself in need of more and more space due to it's growing video archive. The site soon split in two and formed the media-oriented Adult Swim Unleashed and the information-oriented Adult Swim Info Central. In 2004 the two sites remerged on Animation Insider. It lasted on and off of that website until 2005 when the owner decided to give the archive to another media site, ASF, in order to pursue a website based on Adult Swim news and information.

Versions One, Two, and Three
In mid-2005, the owner of Adult Swim Unleashed formed Adult Swim Headquarters independent of any other site. Although ASHQ, at first, wasn't nearly as popular as its predecessor, it still managed to flourish and expand its information archive. However, in early 2006, the site found itself in a series of crisis' as staff members left, and the forums were shut down.
Version Four
In 2006, ASHQ and the popular animation site, Toon Zone, struck a deal that brought Adult Swim HQ back. Toon Zone decided to host the Adult Swim fansite. ASHQ would incorperate the Adult Swim forums on Toon Zone's forum and bring in the first consistantly updated Adult Swim site in years.
Version Five
In mid-2007, the AdultSwimHQ.com name was lost due to a series of errors and problems with the domain name companies involved. The Adult Swim HQ staff decided to change the information section to a wiki and to change the general design and approach of Adult Swim Headquarters. With Version Five came a wiki, a new podcast, new media, video updates, and much more.
